2. Limitation of Liability and Accuracy of Information:
- Accuracy of Information: We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the specifications and prices of the displayed smart products. However, unintended technical or typographical errors may occur, and the store reserves the right to correct, amend, or cancel any related order at any time without prior notice.
- Compatibility and Installation: The customer is fully responsible for ensuring the compatibility of smart devices with their home network and electrical connections before purchasing. The store assumes no liability for damages or short circuits resulting from incorrect installation attempts or relying on technicians who are not certified by us.
3. Return and Exchange Policy:
To ensure your satisfaction, our store offers an exchange and return feature subject to the following terms and conditions:
- Timeframe: Return requests are permitted within 3 days, and exchange requests within 7 days from the date of receiving the product.
- Product Condition: The product to be exchanged or returned must be in its original sealed packaging, in its original new condition as received, unused, and complete with all its accessories and invoices.
- Excluded Products: We cannot exchange or return any product that has been opened, used, linked, or programmed to personal accounts, or devices that have suffered damage resulting from misuse or incorrect installation by the customer.
- Shipping and Delivery Fees: If the exchange or return is due to the customer's preference (without any manufacturing defect in the product), the customer will bear the full delivery or shipping fees. However, if there is a manufacturing defect, the store will cover all shipping costs.
4. Warranty Policy for Smart Devices:
All smart devices and systems are subject to warranty at Smart Home under the following conditions:
- Warranty Period: All smart devices are covered by a one-year (12-month) warranty against malfunctions and manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.
- Eligibility Conditions: Presenting the original invoice or order number is required, and the product must be in its original packaging along with all its essential accessories.
- Exclusions: The warranty does not cover malfunctions resulting from (misuse, drops and breakage, exposure to liquids or excessive moisture, repair attempts outside authorized centers, or electrical installation and incorrect programming errors outside the supervision of the store's technicians).
- External Orders: Any orders placed outside our official website or official store channels are not covered by this warranty.
5. Shipping Policy and Coverage Areas:
We ship and deliver to all governorates of the Republic of Yemen, in cooperation with reliable and professional shipping and delivery companies to ensure the safety of shipments and sensitive technical devices.
6. Official Delivery Timeframe:
- Inside Sana'a: Delivery is made within 24–48 hours from the date of order confirmation.
- Other Governorates: Shipping and delivery are completed within 2–5 business days, depending on the customer's geographic location and the shipping company's trip schedule heading to that governorate.
Please note that the official working days for the store and shipping companies do not include Fridays, public holidays, and official national vacations.
7. Shipping and Delivery Fees:
- Inside Sana'a: The delivery cost is determined based on the specified address and location, and is usually a nominal fee.
- Outside Sana'a (Other Governorates): Shipping fees are calculated based on the total weight and volume of the order and its designated geographical area.
Note: The total shipping cost will appear clearly when completing the order in the shopping cart and before proceeding to the actual payment step.
8. Confirmation and Cancellation of Orders:
- We communicate with the customer to confirm the order via phone or WhatsApp within a few hours of placing it on the website.
- Pending orders that are not confirmed by the customer within 24 hours may be automatically canceled to make the products available to other customers.
9. Shipping Delays and External Links:
- Shipping Delays: We always strive to deliver your orders on time. In the event of any delay beyond our control (such as exceptional weather conditions or logistical road situations between governorates), the customer service team will contact you immediately to update you on the status of the shipment. The store is not held liable for these delays beyond its control.
- External Links: Our website may contain links to manufacturers' device applications (such as smart home control apps). These links are for user convenience only, and we do not accept any responsibility for the content of those third-party sites or applications, or any damages arising from their use.
10. Shipment Tracking and Applicable Law:
- Order Tracking: We provide you with the shipment tracking number (if available with the shipping company) or follow up with you via direct communication step-by-step until successful delivery.
- Applicable Law: These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable regulations and laws organizing electronic commerce and consumer protection in the Republic of Yemen, and the courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute that may arise regarding them.
